SproutPad

Your AI agent can build a website.
It just can't put it on the internet.

SproutPad fixes that. Your agent buys the domain, sets up hosting and email, and puts the site live. No Cloudflare account, no API keys, no DNS homework. You set the budget and approve big purchases with one tap on your phone.

Free account. No charge at signup. Your agent can't spend past the cap you set.

The experience

Ninety seconds, start to finish

1

Your agent prices the work and asks first

2

You get an approval link. Decide from anywhere

Your agent hands you the link right in your chat, and we email you a copy. Nothing happens until you decide.

3

Site goes live. You get an itemized receipt

agent> Approved. Domain registered, hosting running, site deployed, HTTPS on, inbox ready.

agent> Live at https://myportfolio.com · reachable at hello@myportfolio.com

Receipt: domain $15.00 one-time · hosting $3.00/mo · mailbox $2.00/mo · every step logged · undo with one command

The guardrails

The four questions everyone asks

"Won't it run up a huge bill?"

No. Every purchase is checked against your budget before money moves, not alerted on after. When the cap is hit, everything stops. A looping agent can ask fifty times; $25 still means $25.

"What if it makes a mistake?"

It will eventually, so mistakes are cheap here. The one purchase that can't be undone (a domain, prepaid for a year) always waits for your approval. Everything else can be deleted anytime, and you only pay for the days it existed.

"Will I end up paying for forgotten junk?"

No. Experiments delete themselves after 72 hours unless you keep them. Everything you do keep lives in a project with a running total, and one command tears the whole project down. If we created it, we can find it and remove it.

"Am I still in control?"

Always. Your agent acts through one key that you hold. Revoke it and every action stops instantly. Every action is logged with what it did, what it cost, and how to undo it. The system assumes the AI gets things wrong, and is built so that's fine.

Getting started

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect your agent

    Sign up, get your key, paste one block into your agent's config. Works with Claude, Cursor, and anything that speaks MCP.

  2. 2

    Set a budget

    You start with a $10/month cap. Raise it when you're ready, tighten the rules whenever you want.

  3. 3

    Tap yes when it matters

    Your agent works on its own. When something costs real money or can't be undone, you get an approval link in chat and by email. One tap either way.

The whole setup, from your agent's point of view:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sproutpad": {
      "url": "https://api.sproutpad.io/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer agk_..." }
    }
  }
}

Pricing

Start free. Pay for what your agent buys.

Free plan

$0

One project, a $10/month governed budget, unlimited domain search and quotes. Everything below at the same prices.

Pro plan

$29/month

Ten projects and a $250/month budget ceiling. Same guardrails, same audit log, more room. Upgrade or downgrade from the dashboard.

Domains

from $15/year

Prepaid for a year at registration, which is why buying one always waits for your approval. Yours to transfer out anytime.

Hosting + email

from $3/month

Hosting at $3, $6, and $18 tiers; mailboxes $2 each. Billed only for the days they exist. Delete something and its meter stops.

A typical launch — the one in the demo above

myportfolio.com, first year$15 once
hosting + mailbox$5/month

That's it on the free plan. No hidden fees, no seat pricing. Pro adds $29/month for more projects and headroom.

Hard cap Every account starts with a $10/month budget cap. Your bill can never exceed the cap you approve.

What people launch

Tell your agent what you want. These all fit under $10/month.

"Put my portfolio online"

A personal site on your own .com, with a hello@ address for inquiries. The classic first launch.

~$15 once + $5/mo

"Make a site for my restaurant"

Menu, hours, directions, and a bookings@ inbox your agent can read and answer for you.

~$15 once + $8/mo

"Launch my product's landing page"

A waitlist page on the domain you want before someone else takes it, with support@ ready for day one.

~$15 once + $8/mo

"Put my side project on a real URL"

That app your agent built last weekend, off localhost and onto the internet with HTTPS.

~$15 once + $3/mo

Not sure it fits? Domain search and quotes are free — your agent can price your exact idea before you spend a cent.

Who it's for

Built for two kinds of people

You build things with AI agents

Your agent can write a whole site in twenty minutes, then hits a wall the second it needs a real domain and somewhere to run. Give it that missing piece, with a receipt for everything it does.

You run a platform whose users need domains

Your users' agents build apps on your product, and "make it live on my own domain" is your most-requested feature. We handle registration, DNS, certificates, hosting, and the abuse desk. One API, your brand.

Before you ask

Fair questions

What exactly does it handle, just domains?

The whole thing: the domain, the hosting, the DNS connecting them, and the HTTPS certificate. One request from your agent covers all four. Email is here too — your agent can set up real addresses on your domain (hello@yourdomain.com, $2/month each), and even read and reply to what arrives, under the same budget and rules. Databases are on the roadmap.

Is it actually safe to let an agent spend money?

Safer than the alternative, which is handing it your credit card and hoping. The agent never touches your card; it asks our system, our system checks your budget and rules, and anything serious waits for your tap. Every action lands in a permanent log with what it did, what it cost, and how to undo it.

What happens when I delete something?

Hosting and mailbox billing stops the day you delete them. There's nothing to cancel and no refund to chase. Domains are different: they're prepaid for a year and stay in your account even if you shut the project down, and you can transfer them anywhere.

Do I need accounts at Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or anywhere else?

No. That's the whole idea. We hold the infrastructure relationships so neither you nor your agent has to create accounts, paste API keys, or read DNS documentation. You get one account: this one.

What if my agent goes haywire and requests fifty things?

The budget doesn't care how many times it asks. Once the cap is hit, everything stops until you raise it. And if something feels wrong, revoking the key halts every action instantly without breaking anything.

Can I get my domain out if I leave?

Yes. Domains registered through us are yours. Move them to GoDaddy, Namecheap, or anywhere else whenever you like.

Why do you need a card if signup is free?

Two reasons: it proves you're a person, and it's what your budget draws on when your agent buys something. The card goes to Stripe directly and stays there; we never see or store the number. Nothing is charged at signup, and nothing can be charged past your cap.

When can I use it?

Right now. Signup takes two minutes: put a card on file, grab the key, paste the config into your agent. You start with a $10/month cap, so the worst case is capped before your agent does a single thing.
